Hello all.
This is the first time sculpting from ZSpheres up and I'm trying to recreate this Leonidas statue.
Here's my work so far.
The hands and the feet are the least touched areas since I'm not too sure how to approach them :S
Any critiques would be awesome

I actually really like the definition of the face. Maybe calm the lower lip down a bit, though. I'd define the edges of the helmet a bit more, too - the edges are pretty hard in the reference, but they're looking quite soft right now. Same with the edges of the crest holder.
Good start, though.
looks as if he fears something or wrinkels his forehead (is that the right expression in english?)
Maybe not the exact proper way Morph3us, but i see what you mean. Spartans are fearless! don't be afraid to add your own awesome-sauce to the model
You're right, they are! And he does look a tad worried, I'll try and fix that although I think its the way the helmet-brow curves
'Awesome-sauce!', haha love it.
Normally I would but this time around I wanna get it as close to the real thing as possible. Thanks for the comments guys
Now that I've gone and made a mess of a description, my last comment would have to be to just keep pushing the detail. You've got a great start, and it looks like you started detailing some areas, but then smoothed most of it out. Don't be afraid to exaggerate and push detail past the reference if you think it will help the model read better.
the one thing that pops into my eye on the last screen is his left knee in the front view (so the right one from our perspective)
the armor directly upon the knee look bent inward?
I like the traditional King Leonidas look. I'm glad it wasn't the 300 Leonidas cause that would've just been silly.
Looking good. Keep it up. =]
what type of brushes are you using?
Yeah sorry about the size, was in a bit of a rush. Been using clay, standard and polish mainly.
Here's where I've left it.
