Sorry for a somewhat silly question. Being that comicon entries are due tonight, I'm wondering if anyone else has problems accessing the site. It'd suck not being able to submit.

Well, that blows. Anyone know off hand what the specs are for our submission? I can't remember what size the images have to be. If I remember correctly, there's a beauty shot, some other shot, construction shot, texture sheet, reference/inspiration?

That's why you plan ahead and submit early =P I knew it would be like this. Not being able to submit something you worked so hard for would suck.

Why even bother with a deadline?

One extension is understandable and a lot of potentially awesome entries clearly wouldn't have made it in time I don't think but another one? Really?

It's so obviously because of a certain few entries too... I can't imagine them extending it for those of us who aren't revered over there.

I hate the extensions... this contest was so rushed that I didn't even bother putting in the proper time knowing full well I wouldn't be able to get anything done by the deadline....

When the first extension rolled by, I realised I could have done the entire thing if I had known it was 6 weeks rather than 4.

Sad but true, maybe they wanted everyone to just bust there asses on the competition more so then give you a bunch of time for you to push It aside as some do, just saying but I agree, 6 weeks should be the rule and maybe add no extensions to that.

just a correction, the file is up to 350 kb, not 250 as mentioned before. resolution is up to 1000 X 1000 p. about the extensions i'm not a big fan of those either but since this is supposed to be just a challenge for fun, i dont see a big deal on it, especially because most of the people who enter gotta work and everything else, so i think the more entries that get done the better, for the greater good of gameart! Though I think they should solve the issue just by giving a softer deadline, like 6 weeks as $!nz mentioned

I think extensions are part of the plan. It makes more people grateful for the hosts and ends the competitions on a highly positive note, because the people who don't like extensions make less noise about it then the ones who are thankful.
