I am currently a student, but I will be graduating in December, and getting a job in the industry hopefully. Here is what I am currently working on. Crits are appreciated.
Here is a Model I did for a shortfilm
I wanted to get it in game so I am working on optimizing it, and practicing my texture painting in mudbox.
here is my optimization so far:
I am also starting my first character, so that will be an adventure im sure.
Here is my concept, as you can see drawing is one of my strong points [/sarcasm]
Here is the model so far, just knocking out the base mesh, then im going to sculpt it. Any tips on a good workflow for when to add clothes would be cool. right now I am going to try to sculpt the clothes to the base mesh, except for the pieces that really stick out, not sure if that is completely right.
And finally I am working on a game level in the UDK. My concept is an old London alley, that has been really overgrown with plants and foliage. Here is my block out sketch (really lacking in the overgrown department)
Any opinions would be most appreciated!

reworked some of the figure, attached the head, added the scarf thing
I realize there are too many polys in the head, Im working on that.
No matter, your work is good
As for the last one, either construct the front of the model or select the faces and try to invert them. This process usually fixes the problem for me in xsi (that is if you are using xsi.)
Good luck
might post some stills tomorrow if there is any interest.

Like your idea for the hallway thing, but I was just thinking.. What makes it sci-fi? No offense, I'm a bit tired of octagonal obstacle courses myself, but the hallway looks a bit like normal modern architecture to me so far? Maybe think about adding something that isn't typical for modern architecture allready?
