This scene was originally created to test game environment creation within Modo, which ended up doubling as a school assignment as well . All the base textures are square and tilable. Later on I decided to make the Temple look more overgrown and abandoned. The ivy was created with this ivy generator.
I went a bit crazy with the ivy, it would obviously never work as is in a game engine but I think it makes a pretty awesome scene. I'm probably going to play around with doing a moon lit shot later.
I'd probably add in some plants growing in the cracks of the bricks or where the ground hits the wall. Some little plants or leaves poking through that.
Also, I'm thinking out loud here, but would you possibly see some water on the floor? I don't really know if you would, but it seems it it has over grown that much, that it could be a slightly damp atmosphere.

i like it, but such an old overgrown building would have MUHC more wear and tear on it
your textures are way too clean!

pillars are support. the wall rests on them, it doesn't hold them up.
