Ok guys might as well just dive right in here.
I'm building this character for my portfolio
here is what I have so far, It's not much, just blocking things in.
And my basemesh
I have also started on some accesories
So that's pretty much all I have at the moment I'm still having some problems with general proportions and how exactly the clothing all fits together .
any comments and critiques are more than welcome and I'll be posting updates as they happen.

Good start, great concept! This is going to get interesting!
Looks like you are going more with the picture to the left (or first one), are you going to make a mix between the two or make some other adjustments for the 3D depiction? Right now the hands are already too big compared to the ref.
Ooh, I like this too! And who did the concept art? It's very chic.
Edit: The hood doesn't give the head a whole lot of volume there, Perhaps too pointy on the top. I think a more rounded peak works better, kind of like what we see in the leftside concept picture.
