worked on an environment some moths ago, and this is one of the models. I'm using floaters hence the weird shading etc. I'll post more sci-fi props and such soon
testing out the rig I made for this character - awesome facial expression by just turning the head control! ;D I'll make a proper skinning as soon as the full rig has been made. Hopefully some cool animation will be made with this character
and I also finally made some proper hair for this fellah - anime style just like the character it was based on : )
just doing a testrender of char - stupid marmoset won't let me do realistic eyes so I got angry and ehm...made them white and glowy lol. well well next time I'll render in a program that can handle semitrasparent textures
hmmmhmmhm, this model is alot more higher (geometry wise) than it's supposed to be - but I just felt like modeling all the straps, don't ask me why because I myself don't even know the reason - ok fine I do have my reasons. Feels like i'm talking to myself <.< byeee *D*
@gillmeister74: thanks a bunch man, much appreciated : ) I'll keep doing my best! *fightoo fightooo*
a 1h sculp from mind before heading to beeeed *ZZZzzzzzZZzz* tryin to force myself to reproduce what I've done from studies (tho i never do studies <.< FML)
cool stuff
yes I know I see things in my head that look awesome but when I sit in front of the monitor they seem to disappear so I end up finding forms in random shapes
any way random and abstract drawings are very good to exercise composition
keep up the good work
@ Altasa: Hahahah yeah, let's call that abstract art hahahah : )
Anyways, I tried doing some painting with grayscale, no lineart n whatever because I just to train myself. Well...ahem. It turned out shit (imo). For real. But I will keep practicing values and such becuase I want to become awesome : ) *dreaming of a distant future*
But anyway, happy weekend! I'll be playin' SKYRIM like helll....mmhmmhmhmmh
not bad mate. I would say you could push the values a bit more to get it looking more interesting.
EDIT: but I suck at digital painting so dont listen to me
Im doing studieees, need to learn more, more and MORE! *head exploooodes* (this is just one of the many I did) **feeding my brainz with awesome knowledge**
very cool these last three works
actually I had no intention in calling your art abstract, I just wanted to say that finding form in shapes, as a design technique, works with abstract shapes that make a composition you like and only after that you try to justify those shapes into a functional form
so you use a partially abstract approach to create something descriptive in the end
Hah cool, so it's you that have made some of those 3d renders that our 3dteacher(Marcus) used in one of his power point presentation. Funny to find another skövde student here on PC
That last mountain study is awesome and i really liked the boy with those big power gloves
Jessica: Wooah! I checked that guy out - amazing stuff he has done *amazed*
Altasa: Ahhh I had no intention on implying something you didn't say, it's just that even for me that drew the image, it is very abstract and even random I must say ; )
Twoflower: Omg! Hey hello there fellow college student! Now you made me extremely curious on what image he used on the power point xD Please do tell.
Thank ya'll for the kind words. I'm working my ass off to make even more studies! : )
lol wtf xD why did he show people those images o_o They weren't even for a class or anything. I bet he showed them as "Do not do 3D like this". What was the context for showing the images, if I may ask.
Anywayyyyy, I don't know who you aaaaare - but I'm dying to know! PM me or something : )
I'm working on this model! I got my own "Work in Progress" thread on the pimping and previews section here on Polycount. Stop by and critique if interested. Take careee.
