This may be a simple question to some but,
recently my 3ds Max has been freezing and crashing, So uninstalled and reinstalled 3ds Max 2010 32-bit and got all the updates and components and so and so...
I opened max and started to create a shape, but my primitive shapes are all triangulated....before they were quad faced poly's, it didnt matter which shape I made, all my faces had 4 sides...
What I am trying to do is set it to where all my shapes are 4 sided faces when I create them....no matter what shape or object I make...
I have searched the web and cant find anything but "modify > tessellate"....
I dont want modify tessellate, I want to just be able to make my shapes like before....
Any help is appreciated
