Its functional and has a simply and easy navigation. I personally would like to see the texture sheets at higher rez, their so small you cant really see whats going on. There are somethings that I can comment on as far as work. Alot of the models need optimizing, you have edges that aren't doing anything on the model as well as some flow issues. Overall I think the scenes are too simplified, models and textures need to be pushed further.
Hope you don't mind me drawing over it. Here is a visual suggestion. If you want to put the "made in maya, rendered in maya" on the site put it with each sub page (top or bottom)
To me, the biggest problems are:
-stretched header
-not making use of space on front page
-need larger images for sub pages
-also, I think better lighting would make for amuch better presentation.
Yeah the main thing I try to do when I view portfolios is see a higher rez version of the scene/render.
I'd make it if you click on an image it will take the viewer to a high rez image of it.
Also I would put your name email address and website in the corner of each image. Most people who are reviewing portfolio sights will save images from potential hires.
If the images don't have your contact/email they might never get to you because they forget where they got the image from.
