We are an exciting “new” independent games developer. We have been around privately int he shadows for the last decade refining and creating unique game series and multiple prototypes. We have an extremely solid foundation towards the company and many powerful partnerships including: NVIDIA, IGN, GameSpy and plenty of others.

We are focused on addictive gameplay, powerful and new technology and our community. We own 6 unique game series and are currently completely focused on our flagship game series, ‘ORION’. We are a developer that regularly updates and informs its community and we have what we call an “open development” with our fans.

GAME MECHANICS PROGRAMMER (1 position available)

PROGRAMMER REQUIREMENTS:
-Able to script in UScript / Multiplayer practices.
-Artificial Intelligence.
-Creating a new game mode (interactive – on-the-fly inputs and outputs that affect both the game mode and the environment itself).
-Able to create new pawns, actors and volumes.
-Able to create new Nodes for Kismet system.
-User Interface.
-Able to heavily manipulate weapon and vehicles to fit the game design and technical data.


EXPERIENCE:
-1 to 2 years on a previous mod development group OR game studio.
-Working sample / prototype of your work.

3D ARTISTS (4 positions available)

ARTIST REQUIREMENTS:
-Able to familiarize yourself with an art style.
-Familiar with BOTH high poly and low poly modeling.
-Use of 3D Max. (If you are familiar with other modeling suites and tools - that is a definite plus)
-Produce clean UV maps.
-Create your own materials.
-Looking for a wide variety of 3D artists - specifically character. Also seeking Environmental and Weapons artists.
-Able to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.


EXPERIENCE:
-1 to 2 years on a previous mod development group OR game studio.
-Working sample / prototype of your work.
-Resume attached.

CONCEPTUAL ARTISTS (4 positions available)

-Able to visualize and display a world.
-Comfortable and educated with perspective.
-Fluent in all variations (scenes / illustrations / story board / characters).

    Any particular reason your programmers are compensated, but artists aren't?

    While we have been around since 1998 - we just went public with the company. Currently we are on a "shoe-string" budget that is mostly simply allocating the funds to allow us to go premier our game at gaming conventions as well as meet publishers and partners.

    While the Lead Programming spot is currently compensated, all positions will be compensated (both salary spots and freelancing spots) in early 2011 when we open the studio and offer remote positions.

    WELCOME TO INCURSION
    Incursion was by no doubt, one of the most played levels in the Source Multiplayer Beta. *It had a retro and easy-to-figure out design, was pretty - and more importantly was competitively fun!

    We are announcing that Incursion will be making a much required return to '<em>ORION: Prelude</em>'. *We have taken it back to the drawing board and have given it a brand new style, made it larger to accompany the vehicle combat and dinosaurs and have fixed a few layout issues that were present in the Source Multiplayer Beta.

    Orion is a fast-paced, first person shooter with a heavy emphasis on team-based, multiplayer play. The game itself is set on an alien world that is similar in nearly every way to our earth in prehistoric times. The development of this game gives us as a team the wonderful opportunity to focus on what we view as the core of action genre gameplay.
