There are a lot of tutorials (video/text )and in depth knowledge that install with Unity.
Start > All programs > Unity > Unity Documentation.
Or Unity main menu > Help.
I've been working my way through them and they're really helpful. Their forums seem to answer just about anything the help docs can't.
This guy has a couple tutorial playlists loaded with Unity tutorials. I've been going through his Maya 2011 and expect that his unity ones are just as good. http://www.youtube.com/user/cannedmushrooms
I found everything I needed online on the Unity forums. I don't see a need to drop any kind of money... there's a lot out there on the Wiki and on the forums.
Dont pay for Unity tutorials they are distrubuted all around the interent just use google or youtube and type Unity Tutorials, you are bound to find something worth doing. Im doing a FPS one at the moment.

I've got loads more, but most are useless or annoying. Best to just dive in, use the online help documents.

Also ran across these the other day, though IMHO the dude spends way too much time talking and not enough time showing.
Doing the bundled tutorials teaches you 99% of the basics.
