Hi Crew,

I have been trying to figure this out for this scene I have been working on for awhile.

The shadows appear to be really really light. I want crisp shadows to add a dramatic look from a strong directional light.

Anyone have any ideas how I can crispen/darken up these shadows up?

In the lightmass settings you could try lowering your diffuse boost to 1 and lower your number of bounces. Ideally you would want to have finished materials on your assets that make up your level, because their color will greatly impact the scene's bounce light. Right now you have a gray material on everything which will blow out your indirect lighting. You can play with the indirect lighting scale on your light to control the bounced light as well.

And on a side note, a 1024 for a lightmap is REALLY overkill. With lightmass lightmap sizes can be even lower than they previously needed to be, I'd say like 64 or even 32 in a lot of cases.

I was able to get the desired effect by adjusting the "Light Source Angle"

What is your lighting setup. What kind of lights do you have on your level?

1 DomDirectional. That's it nothing else. You can see its setting above.
