I'm new here so I'd thought I'd start out by posting some of my stuff.

You won't see much traditional art in here as it's really not my strongest skill but every now and then, some might creep through. I'm still very much learning about modelling so go easy on me! I've done some very basic low-poly stuff (mostly buildings and simple props) for a small project in UDK but I'm really trying to push on now and hone my skills.

I'm also in the early stages of a project which I'm using as a base to practice and learn more. The project is called Penance and most of the stuff I'm doing at the moment will be related to that. Penance is actually a project I started at university but I'm now planning to make it bigger and better.

Crits are welcome and encouraged.

So, without further ado...

This is a storyboard for an intro I was working on. It's a little outdated because it's gone through quite a lot of revisions by now but I haven't sketched them out, with anymore detail than stickmen, anyway

This is my first high-poly mesh, modelled in 3DS Max. It's still not perfect but I'm pretty pleased with it so far considering it's my first proper attempt. You'll have to excuse the framing of the shot, I'm not sure what I was thinking :poly142:

I'm not really looking for crits around the 2D stuff as much but any suggestions etc about the 3D stuff is extremely welcome.

I dont have any crits on the modeling, it looks nice. Is the camera goin to look around? I can see that it can look up and down but what about sideways?

Good point, the camera should spin around the part that it joins to the wall bracket. I'll put some extra work into that, the wall bracket is one part of the model that I'm not happy with so this should help. It's funny I missed it because I was careful to make sure it could look up and down!
