We have an opening for a low poly modeler in our San Francisco office. We develop games targeting women, so if you only like modeling zombies and orcs this position may not be fulfilling for you
Sugar Inc. is looking for a full-time Junior 3D Artist.
Were looking for a talented 3D artist with a passion for casual games to join our game development team. The artist will be responsible for modeling, skinning, and rendering low poly 3D clothing for our social game Retail Therapy. Candidates should be prepared to join our small development team and work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Create low poly clothing assets based on photographs and concept drawings, modeling, rigging, skinning, and rendering in Autodesk Maya
- Import renders into Adobe Flash and set up the files for exporting
- Export and upload assets to our content management system
Qualifications
- No experience required, but indie game development or mod experience is a plus!
- The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on art, with some experience working with Mel Script and/or AS3
- Detail oriented with the ability to pick up and follow naming conventions, file structures, and export settings
- Interest in fashion and current trends is a plus!
