Hey, this is my first post on this site.
i was recomended here by my friend/lecturer to see what other people in my position are producing. the level of work on this site is great, although slightly above where i am at at the moment i am eager to catch up

I would like to introduce you to my current project, i call him steve.

as you can see steve is still in production. the chest is just a keepsake for now as i knocked it up in like a min and the geometry kinda sucks. i like the basic shape though so i will try to clean that up at a later point. the neck again is just their as a placeholder until i move onto modeling that part as is the same with the cylinders near the sholder and pelvis.
have had to stop with the clay renders as i dont have enough ram to support it anymore

(more in the post) anyway i know its still early stages but any comments are welcomed, figured i should get myself out there and see what people say bout my work

thanks in advance, Noxain

well as i say its a work in progress, ill throw up some updates as i work
He looks more like a 'basil' or a 'Ted':)
The design a little simplistic TBH and I am not really getting what sort of robot he is supposed to be. Perhaps just work on the design a little first.
Raul: thank you for the welcome
i think every robot needs a name
Ruz: yea looking at that line was kinda bigging him up i guess. thats gone now
Cheese. yea atm he does look kinda off balance atm, it its partially offset by his swayback knees atm but will be further balanced by a sizable bulk behind the elbow area. but as suggested i will ad better perspectives in my next post.
more updates will follow soon. full time job and my girlfriend leave me struggling for time t model which is a pitty.
