Hey Everyone, I'm new to Polycount, Lee3dee introduced me to this site. I'm branching into environment art and I thought this would be a good opportunity since I'm coming from Exhibit Design.
Challenges
* Efficient use of time creating high poly models, textures, etc.
* Learning the art pipeline from Max/Zbrush/Photoshop/CrazyBump into UDK.
Scene
* I thought of my art board as 3 discreet pieces: interior, quasi-exterior, to open vista with city in the distance (if time permits). I want to re-use some asset pieces throughout the various environments. I am inspired by my art history background and my enjoyment of the Assassin's Creed IP.

I'd be careful with the high frequency details everywhere, most of them are too fine and you only have 2048*4096 if I remember well,
Also, you should bevel those to details to 45° to have them to catch the normal map bake, else only your AO will have them
Great concept to play with a lot of pillars and parallax effects with mid-ground/background elements.
