Hello, a little late. But here we are! We decided to go with the common cliche post apocalyptic setting because its just awesome!

Our level is set up in 3 areas. Outdoor (gives you a view of the wasteland and the city ) The foundry, and hell!

Here is some of the reference we have gathered for this project.

We also have a google doc which im posting below. The deadlines are kinda there to reminds of how much time left we've got and how less we will be sleeping....yawns...



Challenges :
1. Learn the UDK
2. Learn How to build modular pieces.
3. Keep the fire and motivation going to finish this project in time.
4. Observe competition constantly
5. Be picky, NO HALF ASSING!
6. Drink at least one Redbull during the project.

Dead Lines
9/1-9/3 - watch basic videos of udk.
9/3 - Links to tons of reference for each of the main areas.
9/5 - Have story/theme and level sketched out
9/5- Post our ideas in polycount
9/5 possible logo ideas.
9/15 - Have all concepts done. (figure out what props are needed)
9/26 - Have half the models done.( minimal texture ) And level fleshed out.
10/3 - All level revised and set. Start texturing after this date.
10/11- Revisions.
10/17-give it all the love to make it shine.

To begin with we downloaded udk. Something neither of us have used for maybe 3 or 4 years now. So that was kinda of a slow nigth. For me, while jonathanF started fleshing out the 1st concept.

We went back and forth trying to stablish a nicer and more adequate look for each area. Tho in the end, we decided it was time to post.
