I'm asking this on behalf of someone else.
Is there any way to convert a multi-sub object material, made up of many directx shaders in to standard Max materials, keeping the textures in place when converted? It's quite a simple DX shader that only has a diffuse map slot. The reason being is that the models need to be rendered in Max and not screen grabbed. Max 2009 is being used.
Is there any way of doing this without doing it manually for each shader? I've looked for scripts but haven't come across anything.
