I know I've already mentioned it but my studio is closing in a couple of weeks and I thought I'd share this story. Food for thought. Dan's article is spot on and gives a good insight into the industry here in Adelaide.

Best of luck, mate. There's a lot of cg work for film, TV and ads that goes on in Adelaide. Might be worth looking into. You don't have any more game studios there now, do you?

Yeah heard about this and made a thread about it earlier. Its a real loss thats for sure., i really hope you land on your feet again!

We picked up one of your guys at halfbrick during the last round of layoffs. I wish we had the capacity to take on more though .

Jackablade...yeah there are a few animation/visfx houses here in Adelaide. No more games studios though. Yeah, I think I might be looking at balancing work between contract 3d and freelance illustration.
