BEAT-EM-UP! | PolyB

Hey all. This is my first PC challenge so hopefully I'm entering properly. My idea is to create a small town scene inspired primarily by the art of the Fable series. As far as a story flow goes, the player would be making their way through ye ol' town from his personal slummy hut to the local tavern for a drink and probably be ready to cause some trouble along the way.

Challenges:
- Create a consistently stylized environment
- Balance reasonable poly and texture usage while maintaining style
- Maintain significant quality on a large number of assets created within a limited time frame

I've got a lot of the props blocked in so far. There's just one light that isn't even located next to the sun in my background image and a bunch of auto-generated lighting UV's so the lighting looks kinda terrible for now. I'm using the UDK for my presentation.

    Admittedly I'm horrible at updating these things, but progress has been made over the past week or two...

    Updated:

    - Barrels ("must have" in pretty much any Beat-'em-Up)
    - Fancy Light Poles
    - Flower Beds (currently Sans-flowers, but that should change later)
    - Basic night lighting because it makes better use of the Fancy Light Poles

    Tasks for next update:

    - Carts
    - Rocks
    - Lighting Tweaks

    Looks like a solid start. I think it would be funny to have to walk back home after leaving the tavern..and your all drunk so everything looks blurry/crazy haha.
