I considered putting this in the General thread. But I decided that this particular event is very tech-focused. Sure, there is art involved, but TIGSource is predominantly populated with programmers. For anyone interested, it is going to be north of San Francisco, over the Halloween weekend. (Thursday - Sunday) I'm not certain of whether or not I will attend yet, but I'm going to be looking into it. Tickets are $50.
This is an event that should appeal to anyone who likes game programming, and independent game development in particular.
