[FONT="]I have been lurking here for a long time and figured now is a good time to start posting.
There are a lot of things I hope to get out of this challenge, these being the main hurdles:
-Getting more comfortable with current gen asset creation (HI/LOW/Bake).
-Modular environment worflow.
-Getting better acquainted with UDK, especially creating more complex materials.
I'm thinking the Jack Daniels distillery would be a perfect environment for a beat-em-up game.
Good idea, do you have any specific ideas for breaking the scene up as brewery sounds very repeatable and could fall into the trap of looking bland due to reused assets.
Well I'm among the many who found they didn't have enough time for the challenge which sucks but I figured I would post my initial blockout. Good luck to everyone that finished, they all look great.
