Zbrush 4 Cavity Automasking not working

Hey,

I have the problem in Zbrush 4 that the cavity function in the brush palett "automasking section" is not working??

If i want to paint with cavity on, it just throws the colour on the whole modell?

Anyone with the same problem?
Is there a solution?

I'm not noticing a difference no matter which setting I adjust. The old fashion cavity masking works though, if you need a quick work-around.

So that's a bug or what? Cavity automasking over the brush is a often used feature!
It can't be that pixologic didn't fixed the bug before releasing?!

Or is it just me who oversees a button that needs to be activated in zbrush4...?

Probably a bug, I've seen other people report it as well (hitting reset also changes the focal shift of the cavity curve from the default settings). Again, there's more than one way to cavity mask your strokes to achieve the exact same result, so if it is a feature you often use I'd suggest cavity masking for now until the issue is resolved.

Welcome to the world of software, where bugs tend to pop up well after releasing a program into the wild.
