I'll be having a late start since I have to work on other things first and I'm also on crunch at work, but I'm reserving a spot.
I'm going to be doing something swampy, using Metal Slug as reference... i'm surprised nobody has mentioned Metal Slug yet.. Did I miss something?

I thought about Metal Slug also but browsing through the main sticky i got the impression it was considered to be a shooter. Sylistically i think it is fine but the level should designed around hand to hand combat. Not sure though it seams a grey area.
