Well, first of all, I'm new here so introductions are in order.
My real name is Nuno Quintas and I'm from Portugal. I started in 3d for about 2 and a half years by now, learning by myself with the help from the web.
Now I've given myself a new challenge, lowpoly modelling and maybe, if i can, try to get a little game working in UDK.
I've been following a tutorial from Laurens Corjin, haven't gotten into it because at this stage doesn't quite suit the car i'm making yet, but will need to study it a lot when it comes to baking.
I'm just getting the shape right so i can duplicate and make the high poly and low poly versions.
About polycount, what should I be aiming for?
The goal, if I have time to work on it, is make a racing game in UDK, let's say about 8 cars and a track.
