Hi!
I didn't really planned to do whole character. I have sculpted a head and then tought it may be worth to do full (game) character from it just for training and portfolio. I baked maps and painted textures for head so far. I would like to hear what you guys think about it.

I would say that you have to nail his expression as well later

The texture looks good and all, but I think you can make it a lot more interesting, even though Yoda is mostly green, he also has spots, and yellow parts.

Try to get some yellow in there as well, you can see some subtle hints of it on his forehead, under his eyes, cheekbones, top of ears, top of nose, around the eyes. I think the specular could be better, even though you said that you brightened it, it looks quite un-detailed. A detailed specular, high-sharpness, high-contrast would probably look nicer.

If we take a look at this artwork, you'll see that the character is mostly blue but has a lot of different shades of blue. There is also a grainy feeling to the skin, so you get that pore-like skin, both normal , diffuse & spec can show off this. A really well-made specular does wonders
Oh well, I looking forward to seeing more progress! I hope what I've said helps!
I have change body proporsions - screen from Max.
Keep it up.
