Hi everyone, I've been doing 2D works in school for awhile, and recently starting to pick up 3D. So, I think its about time I stopped lurking the forums.
I'm currently making 3d game props for my group project and we'll be using UDK. Anyway, I know its only a rock, but I hope to hear your crits :poly122:

These are things people need to know to really gie any crits... ATM, it could be overly details. It could be seriously under detailed. Your adding fake lighting to the texture which may help, but it may also be the wrong thing to do...
More info please.
Illusive, its suppose to be a generic rock but was planning to make a few more variation of it. The reason why I didn't do tileable was because I don't know how to create rocks with a layered look, and make it seamless. Mine doesn't really look that layered, but it's the closest I've got so far. ><
No prob voff, will add some AO the next time, I think I forgot to on the normal maps.
Hm, odium so far the game is going for a stylised look. Here's the 2D concept
We're trying to go for like a semi-real feel, but with cartoony proportions.
3 screens we did in UDK, after multiplying the NMs in the material editor.
Gonna try to improve it.
Thanks for the reply so far, will update soon.
