Vert's wont target weld to eachother

Okay so if you pay attention to the perspective view you can see the opening in the mesh, well I am trying to target weld the verts together which is a operation I have already done many times on this glock, now for some reason those two verts will not weld together, I tried welding them to other verts and it works, they just wont weld together.

I need this problem fixed, does anyone know why this is happening?

Maybe there are 2 verts on top of each other, try to select all verts and weld them with a small value and look if the vertcount changes, if yes it should work again.

try just moving one of them, you might find that there is two verts ontop of themselves.

If that is not the case, simply try deleting one of the polygons, reconstructing it, and trying again, you could also have a rats nest of several edges going between the same two verts or something..

Looks like the face normals are flipped on the black shaded parts of the mesh. Select the black faces and select Flip under the Edit Polygons rollout, then try welding the verts again.

none of these options work.

I tried everything, I even completely rebuild that section of the gun and nothing.

Nevermind ! I finally got the flip polygons to properly work.
