Good news for nVidia buyers: Nvidia cuts Fermi prices once again Most notably the GTX470 has had it's price reduced by fair margin. Making it a direct competitor for HD5850, maybe even the preferred choice over HD5850(due CUDA, PhysX). GTX465 got a cut, but it's pretty useless since GTX460 is better in every way. Some rumors going around that we might see the actual Fermi 512-CUDA core version sometime soon. Possibly even a full GF104 chip to replace GTX470? (GTX460 has GF104 with some clusters disabled)
Blaizer, That would be annoying as hell, I get some slowdown but nothing major. It's still pretty smooth to select stuff even in subd 600k.
