Smoothing and me

Hey. I'm new to max (used to use other software), and I have some problems. There are some strange things going on in my topology, but please ignore them, I can fix that.

I have problems with the smoothing. Where are the smoothing errors coming from? The topology? The normals? And how can I fix the problem?

Which errors? The shading on the grip, or the flat shading on the trigger guard and barrel?

Not enough geometry where it starts to curve; use a hard edge or use more geometry.

Haha, I can't belive I didn't see that. The back of the grip had enough geometry and then there was a very sharp curve to the side. Thanks for the help

And try to avoid such long Triangles, they are things which tend to produce some really bad shading.
