Job choice
Hey folks,
I have recently graduated from academic highschool here in Germany. I'm a passionate gamer and I'd like to have a glimpse into the Game Industry and its mechanics. I'd like to make my hobby my job. I've been really enjoying playing games of every genre, from strategy over roleplaygame to FPS. To be honest, I have not the slightest idea of what I could work as in the Game Industry. I'd really enjoy creating my own game world in my head and produce my own game. But I'm also interested in Game Art and Design. As you can see, I'm not really sure what direction I should go in. Basically, I was hoping you guys could give me some tips or feedback about how it works when I wanna join the Game Industry and an overview of the particular branches.
