Hey everyone, I've been working on this character in my free time for a bit. He is heavily influenced by Shaolin Monks, who typically have no decoration at all on their clothing, but I think this guy could use some to make him a little more interesting. I was thinking some Kanji on the vest perhaps, and maybe wrap some cloth or rope around one forearm for some A symmetry? If anyone knows a lot about these types of things please inform me, Google images doesn't have a whole lot to inspire.

What is your polycount on him?
I agree with the lights being a little blown out sometimes in Marmoset. It always seems to be daytime in Marmoset world lol. I believe you can change the intensity of the light or possibly use another HDR image to suite your needs
AWESOME JOB BTW!
You can change the lighting solution in Marmoset so that it doesn't look blown a couple ways.
First is changing the skylighting preset. The default is dawn. Sunset might work for you as it's a little more orange, and has more of a falloff. But there are a bunch of other presets to try and see what works for you.
And you can also try tweaking the contrast and bloom within the image itself under the Render tab.
ALSO: Some wire frame shots would be pretty cool
edit could probably push the specular more, it seems very even now across all the materials
also, whats the tri-count ?
how about givin him a hood? also you might rework the upper clothing to leave half of his chest exposed ( like atleast some of most of shaolin monks)
-JohnnyRaptor, Good advice, I will certainly revisit the spec map before moving to rig and pose. Should give a lot more emphasis on the cloth wrinkles.
