Hey everyone, found out about Sculptris today and thought I would try it out. Messed with ZBrush a long time ago but never got a hang of it - this on the other hand was much easier to work with. This is my first real attempt at 'sculpting' something using the program.
Any critique would be much appreciated!

I would suggest taking a reference like this one and just go back and forth correcting where needed.
Good luck and keep at it.
I'd suggest nailing down the planes of the face first. Not sure how Scultris works, but try starting with lower subdivisions and getting the basic shapes before moving into adding more detail.
Keep it up, you can only get better from here
David, maybe you could try using the Reduce brush until you get just enough geometry to block out a basic head with the Grab brush, then use the Subdivide All tool and add detail from there. When blocking out shapes you could also try sliding the Detail slider from your brush down to 0, maybe it'd help.
Added some better eyes and changed a bit.
Haha, kk - Another update:
Taking your advice! Here is another one I'm working on, about 30 minutes in so far.
