MFS you are going to have to elaborate on that question tremendously before anyone will help you out.

What are you trying to make?
    • Hats
    • Weapons
    • Misc items
Do you need help decompiling the files (ie breaking them down from their native TF2 format into something max / maya / blender etc understands)?

Do you need help on re-compiling and getting the files in-game?

Dude - alot of people here are really cool and more than happy to help out someone who needs some guidance - but asking a question that is that vague and obtuse almost guarantees you won't get any help.

Go out and there and do some simple google search results (thats how I started to understand the process) once i had a rudimentary understanding of the process i was able to ask RELEVANT questions and i was given tons of help from the people who hang round these parts.

Please forgive the ramble here - but i hope you take this advice to heart and perhaps next time you ask questions you'll think about it a little better before posting.

    Cheers dude

You need to elaborate as mradamw said. If you keep post 2 sentence posts like this no one is going to help you. You have to do some work to solve this problem on your own before others will step in to help you fill in the blank spots.

by "tf2 ready" do you mean you already know how to model/texture/UV map in blender, and just need help compiling models into .mdl format?
  • MFS
I can model but no texture
  • AAA_BATTERY
you have to learn how to uv map and texture before you can even consider importing items into the source engine, start with Google searches and tutorials, and after you have a good amount of experience, and can turn out good looking models with good looking textures, then you can start thinking about getting them in-game.

I would highly recommend looking through these tutorials, it's what got me started:
