I'm still working on that old Rock Cannon model, and I'm having a bit of trouble with certain choices.

I've made a newer barrel, and I'm torn between which one to use.
And, looking at the
reference, I noticed that the triangles at the back are supposed to be curved a bit. I made
three sizes that I could think of along with an
extra wide size. (Which I will clean up if this comes out on top.
So, which barrel, and which triangle should I use?

The outward (right) kinda reminds me of a silencer ... or those large caliber sniper cannons.
But I can't really tell the difference between those "triangles", looks to me like you're just nitpicking and overthinking things ?
Have you already finished building a rough model of the rest of the gun ?
Because if not, you are doing yourself a disservice by worrying about such small details this early.
The creative period is extremely short, and the longer you spend on a model the less creative you become .. I would highly recommend to focus on the form and shape of the model before you go into small details like this.
Here is a view of the gun being wielded by its user. Apart from what I ask of here, the barrel is pretty much done.
