I honestly think this is honestly my favorite 3d environment I have ever seen.
It really is, and I've finally found something to compare it to. Towards of the end of movie Warhorse it starts to go into a weird, surreal beauty like this does. That you've managed to capture, in a scene that could be in a video game, the same sort of feel that the best cinematographer and director in the world managed is fantastic!
Hey Paul I just want to say this environment is fantastic and has been a massive inspiration to me and my final year project at university. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about the main cottage and how you textured it. Was it created as one asset or multiple assets? How did you texture it? was some of it unwrapped and textured whilst other parts were textured using a custom tiled material in UDK?
