I know they're not everyones favourite company right now, but this looks pretty awesome.
And thank goodness Amazon were obviously laughing at that RRP too.

EDIT: I just preordered, that price is too good to miss, but why is it so much cheaper?! I hope it's not just 1 of the 3 books in the set.

Just hope this is not some limited edition one print only kinda thing like Half Life 2 Raising the Bar where it's now almost impossible to find new and prices have skyrocketed even for used copies.
Agreed, I've been a huge fan of all the GTA's, I remember I used to play the first few top-down GTA's sooo much and loved every one since. I think even if you're not a fan of the art of the various games, there should be a ton of great reading on the way some of the games were made, since they've pretty much always been the king of the 'open-world' genre.
lol, they must be hurting for money.
Im really regretting not getting the Bioshock on in print when it was availiable for 30 bucks....1st editions now on ebay for 700 bucks. atleast they released the pdf copy for free.
+1 to a Valve version though. HL2: Raising the Bar was great and don't know why Valve they haven't done any more books.
Maybe Polycount should do something similar to 3dTotal Digital Art Masters series?
It's not even listen on Amazon US, yet it's here on the UK store for £80, which is somewhat lower than the £300 or so RRP.
