The texture looks ok for the base colors. With the coal you could change it into an editable poly and deform it more with the graphite modeling tools so it looks more like a pile instead of just flat. The coal also looks to big in the texture. So you might need to scale it down some more. A few clumps should fit in your hand.
As for the textures add some scratches, paint loss, rust and grime to the areas where you would think it would exist. CG textures is a good place to start.
The last thing I can crit on, I dont know if it will look good or not but mabey you can try normal bumping the coal to give it more of a 3d effect.
