Do you copy along spline?

with 3ds max9, I'm currently trying to copy any object along a spline with the spacing tool of course.

But is there a way to copy an object along spline, as a modifier like a loft so I can edit my spline and the object just folow it??

mabe there is a script?

yes it works great but after if i want to modify my spline the object wont follow the motification i'im doing

Not a regular Max user, but the motion path route should work aslong as it retains the history?

yes i just have to redo the snapshot witch is not bad.

it would be just perfect if it could just moove with the spline
but it's the best way to do it

Use a Path Deform (WSM) modifier. Use it on the single object, then instance that object using the Spacing tool. It will instance the modifier and you will be able to edit the spline, and the objects will follow.
