Starting a new project - The Sexy Witch. The goal is to produce a complete scene within Zbrush, with fire, lights, hair, etc. and to make a expressive 3d character. I tried to make a consistent design, with a witch wearing a light armor (protection for battles) and presenting some elements magic related.
Currently I'm working on the concept. Zbrush 3.1 for painting.
I believe next update will be the final concept, and then I'm going to start modeling.
Thanks guys. I worked a bit more, tried to fix the left boob, and gave a general up on the work. As this concept is just a base for modeling, I think is good enough. Next step is start modeling.
Thanks man. I'm liking very much Zbrush for painting. The only thing you have to be warned is that you can count just with 2 layers. To me it's not a problem, i just need one layer to put my sketch, and another to paint. But as I've seeing people around using thousand of layers in PS, sometimes to make banal things, I think they woulnd't addapt to Z painting.
I'm sorry to say, but it's not my kind of sexy.
Looks too masculine to me. I'd personally try to accentuate some femine traits in both the face and body proportions.
I think the face could technically work as a womans face but the body feels too massive for me so my brain swings the perception of her face towards the masculine side.
But thats just me.
Other than that - solid work so far. Looking forward to seeing her finished.
Good luck!)
Good concept, I agree with d1ver on the slight masculine look, Id try to push the sexy a little bit more. It looks like there are some anatomy issues with the arms.
Hey guys, thanks for your unvaluable tips. And i'd like to say specially to Jackable that, man, this is exactly what I'm trying to do, go on my OWN path... but it's difficult to me yet. ALhtough I feel more free on 2d world, in 3d I'm still tied to generic proportions and types of characters - as you said well, a "generic soft squishy girl". I really want to achieve my own style, my own look. And I think I'm getting there slowly. It's a matter of patience and practice.
There goes some tweaks I did on face and body, to make her more stylized and feminine. Hope you like it.
She looks like Loki from the New Thor Comic series (He got stuck in a womans body for a while). might help to move the legs and thigh area together just a smidge. kudos on modeling with expression
You could also try bringing the forhead down, as it feels kinda tall for me and adding hair really helps get the idea of a female character quickly. Looking really good, and nice hands from zspheres, as I still cannot get good starts on those from them.
