Nice style! I'm especially enjoying the facial closeups and wires. Wonderful work on the skin. I also checked out your blog, and I love that big-nosed blonde dwarf character.
Really good stuff Anton, your works were very entertaining to look at . I especially loved your wolf
This whole post is off-topic, so please excuse me, but after looking at your wolf and soldier you made, im just intrigued. How exactly do you go about making your textures? You have such a simplistic style that is just really well done and pleasant to look at. Any way we could see some of your flats?
OT: those facial morphs are very nice, your character has some awesome emotion here
nice work! she is really appealing, well and i have a weak side for red heads
however i think you should work more on the smile, looks very artifical, look into the mirror and in anatomybooks, which muscles create a smile and what that means to the direction of the mouth corners, you'll notice that the major movement goes outwards not just upwards
[SF]Three9 Cheers! With the wolf it was a specific case, it was supposed to be flat shaded just with shadows. Generally the simplicity of texturing is deliberate choice - majority of these characters I did in my spare time and always tried to keep it simple so I can do something in a reasonable amount of time. Here is the flat render, not too much going on there
Neox Thanks! I will take another look at it the smile, will play around with the joints. Though if I use my reflection in the mirror as a guide, that might lead me in the wrong direction
bounchfx I think I used DOF too much, next time will use more samples and probably higher res and then downscale.
Amazing facial expressions, very stylish! And that hair just blows my mind, everything about this model is just simple and refined, and completely solid.
Lovely work! The one things that really bugs me is that the joints could really use some extra edge loops. The shoulders for sure, doubling the number should do it.

I love the face, it' a really fun style.
Good job with the facial morphs too, they work really well.
Hopefully in upcoming months I will have more time and will be able to post WIP on all my next characters.
