Max transform gizmos gone

I tried pressing x and that doesnt work, and its checked to on in the gizmo preferences but it still wont show up... Halp?

try + and -, you may have just shrunk it to a teeny tiny size.

Weird, the same thing happened to me today, pressing X did the trick.

try loading the default UI scheme. (be sure to save yours out first, though. I wouldn't want you losing your hotkeys and other custom things.) Click on Customize -> Load Custom UI Scheme, (Remember though, save yours out first.) and then select the ame-light or ame-dark (its named something like that.)

Also, have you tested to see whether or not its a problem with your particular object or scene? Cause that changes things as well. Try making a new scene and a cube to see if the giz will pop up on that.

It was doing it last night but i figured it was just the scene, im trying to make something today and it still wouldnt work.

Even after re setting the scheme it still wont work

Reinstalled max and now it works

For future reference: there's another toggle besides pressing x, it's in the tools menu I believe, near the bottom somewhere. Many people assume x is the shortcut to this menu item, but they're actually entirely seperate, meaning that you can press x all you want, if you turned the gizmo off in the menu it will stay hidden.

edit: Sorry, I checked and it's in 'views', at the bottom. 'Show Transform Gizmo'
