Gonna take part in the Boss Battle and support the black and green 
I'll squeeze a PC logo in there somewhere; untextured though, but in there nonetheless.
Doing a good bit of freelance atm, so updates on this noise will be somewhat slow. Since there's 3 months for the comp I'll be able to squeeze it in, and if anything else, it's at least worth trying to win a print!

I think 3 can be really cool, but I just don't like the silhouettes.
Would be really cool if you explored those 2 some more and did more variations on them. Can't wait to see more. But don't work too hard.
Clintus Maximus: Cool dude. I like 1 as well as it was my first initial gut idea. A lot of my inspiration for this was drawn from the designs of the Cloverfield monster. While I'm not a huge fan of the final design, he looked absolutely insane on film and a lot of the other designs you can find on the net are pretty interesting. So that's where that one kind of came from.
attattattack: I also like the proportions of 9. To each his own dude. I need to do a lot more thumbnails and silhouette rough ins before committing here, but this is all part of trimming the fat for my inexperienced concept work.
BradMyers82: Whaddup clot killah! I'm not a huge fan of 6, but you're on point with the idea I had in mind, so it may be worth exploring if that was conveyed just through the silhouette. I also dig 3 just because you said he has a lot of possibilities.
katana: CGSculpt.org is holding this contest. It is purely a sculpting comp, and 3 months to do it, so more than enough time. Check it out here.

no, but its similar, the one i'm thinking of is kind of a stylized werewolf/werebat/dracula thing? Its nearly identical in sillo, haven't been able to find it, thought it might have been on zbrush central, but couldn't find it...
regardless, more thumbs, do you have a theme or genre in mind?
Found it!! from pc member, jam-i-jam... Seems fairly close to 9 in my head, but its just a silhouette and probably doesn't matter anyways.

Many of the silhouettes you have posted are mostly symmetrical and look kinda friendly. Also, if these bosses are big, have a rough human silhouette nearby just to show scale.
