Hi all,
Just made a tilable texture in Mudbox 2009. Turns out my Mudbox 2009 version couldn't bake AO's (no option under Maps anywhere). I've saved the file, and opened it into Mudbox 2010. I now can bake AO's, however the result is a section (roughly 1/4) of the AO bake is missing, and shows up as blue in the Mudbox viewport. To make things more confusing, baking normal map and displacement maps works perfectly. Can anybody please offer any advice?

mudbox is reading your uvs in uv tiles...
ao in mudbox will be baked with the gpu so they are different to dispmaps...
Is this fixable without having to redo it all again?
and then go to file --> import uv
I redid the uv's, imported using Vertex ID, which i assume is the correct method.
I am now getting this really weird puzzle effect.
Any suggestions?
