Hey there folks, found this contest a little late sadly but hopefully I'm able to pump out a set in time for turn in. I knew I wanted to make something for the Engy right off, but I wasn't sure what. After looking around a bit, I've found a couple sentry sets and some hats and weapons, but no dispensers (apologies if I've missed them). I also noticed something else: the Engy's profile says he "loves barbeque, guns, and higher education" but I don't know of anything that deals with his love of BBQ. And since I'm a big boy that loves him some bbq smothered ribs (and burgers, and chicken, and... well.. almost anything), I decided to do a conglomeration of these two thoughts. Hence, the Bar-B-Spencer.
As you can see from the attached files, I had to make a couple adjustments from the initial concept, and then a few more when I started modeling. Any comments/questions/critiques/assistance would be much appreciated, I haven't made a game model since TF 1 was popular.
If lightning strikes and I am somehow able to finish these models quickly, I have plans to make a teleporter out of a thermos, and a wrench replacing grill flipper. But I don't really see that happening by the 28th. Thanks for looking, and best of luck to the rest of you : ).
