Here is a visual update for my 3D designs. I am still playing with the 4th design and some hat ideas I have been throwing around. I will post them as soon as I have gotten further.
- Rocket Launcher uses laser guided system just like the one used in Half-Life Two epidsoe 2.
- Standard small sized machine gunthat will fire at the same rate as snipers in TF2.
- Trench club does what it looks like it does, smashes your head in.
As soon as I feel that these designs are ready I will add the UV maps and coloration.Thanks for looking.

What's with all of the red text? It's kind of annoying. Also what's with the lack of WIP shots? You just come in here 3 weeks into the competition with near-finished models.
It looks like you've been designing these around specific gameplay, IE the laser sight on the rocket launcher replacement and the SMG. This competition is supposed to about aesthetic changes to that specific classes current set of available weapons.
Sorry about the red text, I will make sure to change that when my final pieces are up. As far as my designs are concerned I was really trying to get as much out of my head as I could. I understand that when it comes down to it these weapons, as Adam has stated in his posts, are only supposed to demonstrate aesthetic changes to the weapons already in TF2. I am designing others that will demonstrate this more. I just wanted to throw these out there and get feedback and also to push my own thought process and what I would add to the existing TF2 weapons for soldier class. I appreciate the posts and I will make sure to keep all you said in mind with the guidelines for my Final colored art pics. Thanks again.
