MizzyMizzy: it's a joke; even with your idea, it'd be useless because the minigun isn't even close to eye level.
Cheeezy: Same as on the regular Minigun, nowhere to be found . Since it's Natascha's defining feature, I didn't want to put it on, since I've already got my own defining feature with the canister turned sideways.

Here's the promised colour comparison. The bullet colour isn't terribly remniscient of the actual bullets on the Heavy, but it doesn't work too badly as a colour. Regular and grey work pretty well too, if you ask me.
Bullet keeps the guns color palette looking interesting, however I'd love logo... if the canister had the TF2 logo indented into it. IE a giant TF2 logo ammo canister.
I like Bullet, though vest trim is good too. If you're gonna be adding details to the drum, I'd say use those 2 colours.
Also like to suggest 1 tiny addition to make the drum look less like a wheel of cheese: http://i46.tinypic.com/2rfc66b.jpg not actually that colour but you get the idea. Just a suggestion.
I really like the Logo one, next I'd say the Vest trim.
In my silly nonArtistic opinion I'd darken the logo's color and maybe even add the cross thingy?
(Put the heavy in there just to see how much he/weapon would stand out from eachother. And I dont think that the lightning effect is that much apart)
I'd also stay the hell away from TeamColors on the waepons as no in-Game weapon has that ATM
PS: Please forgive me for violating your picture/model
i really dont like the bullet magazine (or whatever it is)on the gun. the bullets would be facing sideways... other than that i love everything about it. kind of a major problem though...
I was hoping for a more unified response, now I still don't know which to pick . I'll see if I can make a metal seam with bolts, like the original, so there's a bit of detail on it without having to resort to Mico's paintover; that one tries a bit too hard, if you ask me, to grab attention.

That would be nice visually, but then it'd be nigh impossible to switch the ammo canister, which doesn't make much sense. Plus, I'd have to re-unwrap and texture, because I've got no space left .

Have a look at Natascha, even when the canister makes sense, the way that the bullets go doesn't...

Haven't decided on anything for the Minigun yet, so here's a shotgun. Forgive me if I don't have time to test all suggestions, the deadline is coming rather close.
Thanks for the replies. In my defence, I didn't even know No Country for Old Men had a silenced shotgun until I Googled them term for the heck of it.
Texture: It's hardly spectacular, but it's only a small part on the massive bulk of the Heavy, so that should mesh with it better.
And a bit of an update on the Minigun, a colour that's somewhere in between the most popular ones and a seam to give it some detail. I think all the multicolour solutions that have been proposed will just be confusing.
Minigun texture is looking much better now. Maybe you could add a bit of rust to the black parts too. They're looking a bit too clean compared to the tank now.
I don't even see why the shotgun needs a silencer. As said it doesn't fit with the Heavy and it looks like it's just tacked on there to make it more unique.
New poster here. I just want to say that I love your Soldier pack, and your Heavy pack is turning out great. I do have one suggestion, though - have you considered adding a sight to each barrel on the minigun? Only makes sense to be more accurate with every barrel instead of just one, after all.
The concept of this pack is brilliant, Zwebbie. I hope you get to finish it, along with your Soldier pack, which is fantastic as well.
I find the iron sights on the minigun to be absolutely hilarious. Would be great seeing it rotate in first person view.
The shotgun seems to be coming along nicely, but I think the silencer is just a wee bit too black right now.
Will you try to silence the minigun as well? I'm wondering because I think it'd be really interesting to see (and hear). I imagine the mouth of the gun being just a simple solid cylinder, like a normal silencer (but maybe not as long), and with 6 holes instead of one. It'd give the gun even more distinction and character, in my opinion.
i would feel better if there was a chain of bullets going into the gun, or some way the bullets would turn to fire the right direction, it just doesnt work for me... and im sure some people would feel the same way. either way at the moment i dont see how the bullets would go from the canister to the gun at all, at least not from this perspective

all that just to make a tiny ironsight not spin?
may aswell just remove it
but i wouldn't i love the idea and i love the humor behind it

I also liked Regular and Bullet.
However Regular would be somewhat boring, and on second consideration Bullet looks too much like old toilet paper.
I'd say go with grey.
I agree with Scudz

75% boolet color overlaying the vest color
100% boolet color overlaying vest color

Actually, I count 11 that do . Concerning your paintover, I think a cross on a circle might be a bit hard to read as a shape from a distance.

Silenced shotgun vid, the silencer is ridiculously big though.
No Country for old men's silencer.
Kind of what I mean, excuse the crappy paint over:

Can we see a shot of Heavy with the shotgun?
