Any tips? I painted on a horrible history ridden, nasty mesh from maya in mudbox for awhile. Saved the .psd diff, passed the obj around a few programs to clean it up, re-imported to mud, works much better, but dont know how to import the texture. The one tutorial i found was for mud 2009 and involves putting textures in a certain directory and naming them weird...
there's got to be a better way!

und the > icon there is the import layer option...
if you have more than one object you have to create a new material for them...
rightklick onto the object --> new material
rightklick onto the channel and go to import channel from PSD...
note: this only works if you use features in your PSD file supported by mud...
