This looks really great, I love it! I kinda feel like the skin around where the pelvis meets the legs is too extreme in the transition and what's with the "dust" on the feet? I'd also tone down the specular looks like he's sweating. All minor things though.

Thanks , you know all black people sweat a lot , so its more pure to me , and the dust its because he is a tribal warrior of africa and in there there is a lot of dust , and first originally i wanted to put dust all over the body and add a few white paint but i will think about it , this character will go with my unity game im waiting for the unity 3 release to make a screenshoot , and finally if any unity programmer want to join me to make my game i will apreciatte it and i will give him a percentage of the whole game.

I'm black and I don't sweat a lot :P Good luck on your project
I will post it all the wireframe when the character is finished with all the props i think it will be better but as i write before it has less than 10.000 tris so its fine for games.
This is pretty much a wip thread, why exactly is this in a jobs forum?
You search for freelance gigs, fine, but do you really think a wip thread is going to raise your chances?
If you want a job you need to create a portfolio with finished pieces and their specs and a resume. Also spell check. Your work is looking top notch so the other things should be easy.
That's some really great work, I especially love the soldier. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions? I would really appreciate it.
All my questions have to do with the heads (particularly the soldier's).
First, what method did you use to model it? E.g. box model, plane edge extrusion, creating a plane in the front view and then pulling verts back in the side view.
Second, for the texturing, did you hand paint or use photographs? If you used photos, did you take the pictures yourself or get them off another site? I ask this because one problem I've always had is if I use the same photos I used to model with (from a site with free head reference), then the head looks very much like the reference that was used. The problem with that is that then people will most likely recognize the head texture as being one from the free site (since there aren't many free head refs out there), and I won't have a unique head.
I don't want to turn your thread into a question thread or anything, it's just that when I see a brilliant character artist I always like to ask them some questions to learn what I can from them.
If you'd rather not answer, that's alright, but if you would then I would very much appreciate it.
You've constructed allot of this poorly and I guess you're not going to go back now you've textured it but you should look closer at the anatomy before moving on next time.
your leopard pants look like concrete blocks with a texture on them.
and it looks like you didn't evaluate the form of the face enough, you should look at it from all sides /angles when sculpting
Well i dont know when i will post again i got a freelance work for to 10 models imagine that? and has ot be 2000 polygons and its for a company im very happy that is the way the big 3 d artist starts cheers!!!
OP, I reccomend you do what they say. Post specs, wires, all that 3D Artistry jazz that they are talking about. Afterall that IS what you are looking for...
Would be wise to do so if your going to apply for a job as a Character Artist, would it not?

I can't tell if this guy is a troll just pulling everyones leg...or a seriously misguided individual that is using bable fish from a different language other than english to try and translate it into english. If you are serious, then show your wireframe and your uvs and whatever would show your ability to teach and get a job, not this down the road when I am done. Part of the benifit of Polycount is to get feedback and direction on how your work can improve, and there are a lot of better artists on here that could help you figure out things. Along with this, you need to drop the black sweat thing and step away... far away.
