Greetings! I've put off making this thread because I've been going back and forth betwixt Spy and Soldier for my class of choice. For the time being, I've settled on the Spy, with a theme of Spy VS. Spy!
For the time being, I shall leave this single .gif image until tomorrow, by which point I will have hopefully compiled most of my concepts and ideas into a neat little forum post format for the purpose of depositing said ideas into your brain through visual input mechanisms installed in your respective heads.
COMING SOON: New images of this hat that make it look 50% less like a Chinese peasant hat.

edit: also I think the stripes on the hat should have the same consistancy than the stripes on his cloths.
The hat doesn't fit the Tf2 theme very well yet though, and neither does the texture
But yes, the texture is temporary, as I mostly wanted to see how the shape would work. Here is another angle in all its Chineseosity. In this photograph, our spy is also showcasing the MANVOLVER which is unrelated to this project.
Am currently working on making the brim smaller in diameter while increasing the size of the, uh, hat part of the hat.
On a side note, would any of you gents be able to help me out by uploading the spy's weapon viewmodels? I've been unable to get maya to decompile them properly without crashing, and they would prove invaluable in my quest to create better (and bigger?) replacements for them. I'd love an .ma format to work with if at all possible.
2. Waay too many clipping issues with the gun and doesn't look like your work.

2. He said that the gun is unrelated to this project.
HOWEVER
I've still plans to make a TRANQUILIZER GUN™ and a MAGNET WATCH™ and maybe even that BOMB SAPPER™ that you brought up.
Are entries closed tonight or tomorrow night? I've gotta brew some heavy calibur coffeetea.
