Production Artist-Shockwave
Do you have the talent to create visual assets that are compelling to our audiences using a combination of user generated content and other media? Can you effectively navigate between the tools Photoshop and Illustrator seamlessly and with deft and expertise? Can you manage multiple art projects, timelines and deliverables to meet the needs of our business?
What you get to do every day:
· Manage the sourcing and creation of image assets for all daily picture puzzle games
· Manage the XML file manipulation of same to assure and maintain a consistent art style throughout the entire project interface
· Art production and creation of avatars, items, characters, celebrities in-game, symbols and widgets
· Create delivery schedules and calendar working in tandem with external studios and internal marketing teams
· Execute editorial updates to online games as required
· Monitor and analyze the performance of content updates
· Identify priorities and gaps in current designs, and contribute iterate creative solutions
· Maintain familiarity with games and their UI design for both live and future projects
· [FONT="]Track and provide visual feedback on all assets throughout the stages of production to completion[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Improve the art pipeline between internal and external resources and enforce that process throughout the project cycle[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Work with Producer to adjust project and design revisions to adapt to changing projects[/FONT]

What you bring to the role in your professional toolkit:
· BFA and a portfolio with work samples of Art developed for games
· Minimum 2 years experience creating art assets for in-game or rich media projects
· Strong design skills, artistic sense, and fluency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or equivalent)
· A solid sense of color and visual continuity
· Knowledge of emerging UI and web technology and trends
· In-depth knowledge of online technologies, terminology
· Familiarity with a wide variety of online communities
· Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines with little or no supervision
· Great communication skills both written and verbal
· Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function
· Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun
· Strong ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve
